This could possibly be retarded for my “first post” on cobracommander.org, but I don’t really care.
Probably my favorite scene from Lost In Translation. It contains two things that I find to be extremely funny; Bill Murray and Japanese people attempting to say words with r’s in them.
Also this week I picked up a bottle of delicious (and cheap) rye whiskey. I’m normally a bourbon drinker, but on the recommendation of a “friend” I decided to try it out. As it turns out… it’s really fucking good! A hint of vanilla and a hell of burn, it seems to be considerably sweeter than what I’m used to (Jim Beam, Evan Williams). I will say that I didn’t intentionally seek out Old Overholt, I had to sort of settle for it on account of it being the only kind that the local Sherlocks carries.
The bottle (750ml) cost $13 which is a bit more than I usually pay for whiskey but I’d say it’s worth the extra cost. For shits and giggles I tried it mixed with Coke… I personally didn’t like it… however, if you want to pretend to be a whiskey drinking hardass but you only really like really sickly sweet fucking fruity pants drinks… you’d probably like it.
I’m thinking about doing a short mini-podcast dealie for this thing, maybe atomicasschimpanzee will quit being a vagina and he’ll co-host it with me…. I guess we (when I say we I mean my wife since she’s the only one that will come here… ever) will see.
